1. I think that the most interesting warm-up was the water color techniques page. I found it interesting because I didn't know that there were so many different things to make water color look more interesting.
2. I like how you can blend water color to make things look smooth and together. 3. I find that when you use water color you have to be careful how and when you put on the water color paint. depending on what you want the results to be determines how and when you apply the color.

The artist I chose is Paul J. Stankard. He works with glass to make creative and beautiful glass paperweights. As a youth, he struggled with dyslexia. He didn't know what he wanted to do for a job. In college, he discovered scientific glass blowing. Eventually he started selling his work as a career. Currently, Paul works in New Jersey. More of his artwork can be found at this website. This artist work really inspires me because I think glass art it really amazing. It takes a lot of hard work and I admire that someone can make such beautiful art with such a hard medium. His art work really stood out to me because it is very precise and it looks very smooth.
